BareFit
A technology born and bred in the triathon world. You asked us for shoes that are more comfortable when worn without socks. So we invented BareFit and did away with virtually all the hot spots, blisters, and bloody feet. In the process, we found BareFit just makes a better running shoe. If you start fit from the inside - like we did with BareFit - you don't have to add clutter on the outside. That just makes more sense to us.
-
Tri-Dry
Water in your shoes is weight on your feet. So, we developed TriDry technology to limit water retention and keep your shoes feeling light. After all, you didn't do all that training to have wet and heavy shoes on race day.

TekSheen
The ultimate in performance mesh. TekSheen's engineered stretch provides maximum muscle stabilization and ventilation without increasing fabric weight.

Comments about Zoot Sports Men's ULTRA Race 3.0:
I used the shoes for a 3 mile run. They are very comfortable but need some re-engineering on the rear strap. They will rub you raw on your rear pivot (both with or without socks). Other than the finger pull coming up high they are a fantastic feeling shoe.

Comments about Zoot Sports Men's ULTRA Race 3.0:
This is my 6th pair of Zoot shoes. I'm 2 week out from my Ironman and bought these so that I can break them in in time. After a 1 MILE EASY JOG (SOCKLESS) the shoes tore the skin of the back of my achilles on both legs. Zoot cust service did not care and would not return, but exchange, the shoes. I even took pics of my feet to send to Zoot. Now I have to keep training in these with socks on and with the back of my legs taped and bandaged up.
Other than that, Its a comfy shoe when work with socks.

Comments about Zoot Sports Men's ULTRA Race 3.0:
Gotta say these shoes rock! I got them at the Hansen Dam Sprint Tri Expo and I gotta say no buyer's remorse here! Used them for the race instead of my Ultra TT 3.0's (yeah, I know, nothing new on race day) but I figured "it's a sprint so if they suck on a sprint, I won't use them for racing longer races!" and I have to say they performed well even when I wasn't. They seem lighter than my Ultra TT's (both 3 & 4's) and provide enough support to keep my feet happy.
The only thing I didn't like was they were narrower than my Ultra TT's so that was the only pain in the butt in the first mile. The new lacing system was interesting to use but once I figured it out, it was set it forget it kinda thing. The Ultra TT's lacing is way more easier to set and use.
Otherwise great shoes, well made and light! A new buddy that felt mostly like an old friend!
