It took a little bit to get used to the no sock concept. I tried it for a few days but thought the shoes felt wet inside. The inside is seamless and does not rub uncomfortably. I switched to socks which solved the wetness issue but the shoe didn't feel right on my foot after that. I've since switched to not wearing socks again. This is probably for the best because my socks have a way of disappearing. If I don't wear socks, I can't lose them. The shoe is stylish and very light. A bit more arch support would be nice but the shoes still feel very good on my foot. This is my first Zoot product and I am glad I tried it!

I wear this shoe for all distances also for ultra runnings. I never use a better shoe like these since 34 years!!!

This is my 3rd pair of Zoots, and so far none of them has failed my expectations. I do usually give them a few training runs though to break them in. Like a horse, expect your new pair to give you problems initially (blisters, scrapes and even dead toe nails). After which they will give you a good ride. My suggestion: if you want to enjoy your Zoots sockless, then take them for a spin first 2-3 times without socks. Both your feet and the shoe would have adjusted to each other after then.

I bought these shoes for triathlons, but i wear these shoes everyday! The are the most comfortable pair of shoes I've ever owned!! Most of my running shoes are Nike or Asics, but these are better. I love these shoes so much that I need to get another pair for what I initially bough them for... dedicated tri shoes. Transition times are definitely quicker too. I have recommended to everyone I run/work out with! OK, the Cons: I wear them with no socks all the time, but they did rub the back of my heal after only 1 mile into my first barefoot run. They still rub in th samespot on runs w/out socks. So for my last tri (today, actually), I wore socks... no problems at all. Another Con, a little on the pricey side. While I love these shoes, I think they would be better priced around $80-90 instead of [$](I actually bought mine at a tri in Germany so I got hosed on the Euro exchange rate... Paid [$]EURO). Last Con: limited colors. Would prefer something in Black/Silver or dark Blue/Silver. Overall, I like these so much that'll I'll definitely buy another pair soon, although i would buy many more if they were $30-40 less.
